Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct bioinformatics analysis using relevant software and tools.
  • Develop and implement pipelines for data analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to interpret and present analytical outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in bioinformatics.
  • Prepare documentation and reports on research findings.
  • Assist in training new staff on lab procedures and protocols.
Job Requirements
  • PhD in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics)
  • Analytical thinking Highly skilled in identifying and solving complex problems.
  • Data analysis and statistical methods Proficient in statistical software for data analysis.
  • Python Strong experience in Python for data manipulation.
  • R Utilized R for statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • SQL Skilled in using SQL for database querying.
  • SPSS Experience with SPSS for data analysis purposes.
  • MATLAB Able to perform complex calculations and simulations.
  • Tableau Familiar with Tableau for data visualization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Attention to detail Diligent in ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
  • Leadership and mentorship Capable of guiding junior researchers and fostering team growth.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with biostatistics or bioinformatics: Hands-on experience in biological data analysis.
  • Experience mentoring junior researchers and students: Experience in a leadership role for training purposes.
