Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender who will be tasked with reading blueprints and schematics to set up machines and produce precision parts. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
• Monitor the production process to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Adjust machine settings to improve performance and reduce scrap.
• Perform troubleshooting on machinery and processes as necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvements and process enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• Trade certification as a Facing Machine Operator (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Facing Machine Operator or in a related field.
