Motor Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Motor Setter to join our team. The Motor Setter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric motors, generators, and other machinery. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and calibrate electric motors based on specifications.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery to avoid downtime.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting complex mechanical failures.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Provide mentorship to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification as a Motor Rewinder
• Relevant electrical engineering qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in motor installation and calibration.

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC Machinery: Hands-on experience with CNC machinery and its operation.
• High Voltage Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with high voltage equipment and safety protocols.
