Sheet Metal Technician

Job Description

As a Sheet Metal Technician, you'll be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal products. You'll work with stainless steel, copper, and aluminium, using a variety of tools and techniques to achieve high-quality results. This role requires both technical skills and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and form sheet metal to meet specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production targets.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices.
• Utilize CAD software for design tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal) or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the metal fabrication industry

• Welding Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• TIG/MIG Welding Certifications: Certifications in advanced welding techniques are advantageous.
