Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Adelaide office. This role involves safeguarding our systems and data from various threats while working closely with our IT and development teams to enhance our security posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to respond swiftly to security incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Research and implement cutting-edge security technologies.
  • Work with development teams to integrate security in the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular security training for staff and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to meet compliance obligations.
  • Manage security incidents and coordinate response teams.
  • Facilitate security awareness campaigns throughout the organization.
  • Document and update security protocols and processes.
  • Evaluate new security products and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate regular security drills and exercises.
  • Maintain security badges and access controls.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Information Security is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles focusing on threat analysis and incident management
