Gas Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Gas Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting gas testing across various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. A strong understanding of gas detection equipment and safety regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine gas safety inspections and tests across diverse work environments.
• Document and communicate inspection findings promptly and accurately.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with current regulations and safety guidelines related to gas testing.
• Support the continuous improvement of testing processes and safety standards.
• Ensure all safety gear and equipment are utilized effectively during testing.
• Contribute to risk assessments and develop action plans as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in the mining or oil and gas industry is a plus

• Microsoft Office Suite

Advantageous

• Experience with Emergency Response Protocols: Understanding of emergency procedures related to gas safety.
• Forklift License: Certification for operating forklifts is preferred.
