Job Description

Join us as a Special Education Teacher, focusing on kindergarten students with mild disabilities. You'll be responsible for implementing IEPs, adapting lessons, and collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure every child has access to quality education.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual student needs.
• Assess students regularly and provide feedback to students and families.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs.
• Oversee a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Develop positive relationships with students to foster a sense of belonging.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing updates on student progress.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate students into the mainstream classroom.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to school initiatives.
• Advocate for students' needs within the educational environment.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Special Education is preferred
• Teaching certification in Special Education

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting students with disabilities
