Dental Laboratory Technician / Orthodontic Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Technician, also known as Orthodontic Technician, to join our dedicated team in Sydney. You'll assist orthodontists in fabricating and maintaining orthodontic appliances, ensuring top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify orthodontic appliances, ensuring high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with orthodontists to plan and implement patient treatment options.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and regularly sterilized.
• Provide ongoing support and expertise during patient interactions.
• Keep abreast of new materials and technologies in dental care.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians and interns.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvements.
• Manage lab workflow to ensure timely delivery of appliances.
• Maintain accurate records of all dental prescriptions and adjustments.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Dental Technology or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in orthodontic technologies.

Languages

• English: Fluent
