Responsibilities

• Design structural components and systems for buildings and infrastructure.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Utilize software tools for modeling and analysis.
• Review and approve subcontractor and supplier submissions.
• Implement best practices for safety and sustainability in engineering design.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation.
• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations during construction.
• Contribute to quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare presentations and reports for client meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software (e.g. SAP2000, ETABS)
• AutoCAD
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
• Registered Engineer with Engineers Australia

Languages

• English: Fluent
