Job Description

We are seeking Mixing and Blending Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to oversee the preparation of molding sand for our metal casting processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the mixing and blending machinery for molding sand production.
• Measure and combine sand, water, and additives to meet specific mixing requirements.
• Ensure that all sand mixtures adhere to production specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mixing equipment.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to monitor product quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment and safety procedures.
• Document production processes and report any equipment malfunctions.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
• Trade Certificate in Metal Casting

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating mixing machines in a manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent
