Aircraft Launch and Recovery Specialist

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Launch and Recovery Specialist, where you will be responsible for the upkeep of airfield systems. Your role will require hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and experience in challenging remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair airfield lighting and communication systems.
• Ensure operational readiness of all airfield support systems.
• Coordinate with field teams to execute effective launch and recovery operations.
• Prepare and submit reports on system status and maintenance needs.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability.
• Support project management teams in scheduling and resource allocation.
• Facilitate communication between maintenance teams and client representatives.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new system updates and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in communication system installation, configuration, and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with military or government communication systems

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations

Certifications

• Current Australian Driver's License
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Languages

• English: Fluent
