Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vulcanizer to join our dynamic tire service team. Your expertise in tire maintenance will be key in ensuring the safety and longevity of tires used across a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires for damage and wear.
• Repair punctures and other damage to tires.
• Mount and balance new tires.
• Rotate tires to ensure even wear.
• Maintain proper inflation levels in tires.
• Keep accurate records of all tire repairs and replacements.
• Communicate with customers about tire repair and replacement needs.
• Perform routine maintenance on tire service equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a tire repair and maintenance program or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a Vulcanizer or in a related field

Technical Skills

• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with various vehicle types: Familiarity with cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
• Ability to repair and maintain other vehicle components: Knowledge of vehicle braking and suspension systems.
