Job Description

As the Biodiesel Plant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the biodiesel production process. This includes ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment. A strong focus on operational efficiency and sustainability is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with management and departments such as Sales and Marketing to align production with customer needs.
• Implement continuous improvement practices within the plant operations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the plant facilities and processes.
• Report on operational performance and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred but not required

Experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience in biodiesel production

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of regulations
• Inventory Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
