Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize materials necessary for therapy sessions.
  • Assist with the transportation of patients to and from therapy rooms.
  • Encourage patients and provide moral support during therapy sessions.
  • Report any changes in patients' conditions to the supervising therapist.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of therapy equipment.
  • Facilitate communication among the healthcare team regarding patient needs.
  • Document and report any incidents or accidents that occur during therapy.
  • Help in orienting new staff or volunteers to the therapeutic environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance - Physiotherapy.
Experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
