We are seeking a dedicated Medical Equipment Preparer to assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment for procedures. This is a critical position in ensuring our operating rooms are sterile and well-organised.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical instruments and ensure proper sterilisation.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Conduct equipment checks and troubleshoot any issues.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Provide input on improvements for surgical processes.
• Help train new staff on sterilisation and equipment handling.
• Stay updated on best practices in surgical technology.
• Implement efficient workflows within the surgical team.
