Public Health Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Advisor to enhance community health initiatives in Shepparton. This role involves developing health policies, planning and executing public health programs, and providing expert guidance on community health issues. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in public health and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute health promotion campaigns.
• Assess and improve public health communication strategies.
• Compile and analyse health data for reporting.
• Advocate for community health resources and funding.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to drive health projects.
• Present findings to health boards and agencies.
• Support grant writing and funding applications for public health projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related discipline
• Master's degree in Public Health or relevant area is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health program management
