Job Description

As a Land Mobile Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio communication equipment for both mobile and stationary applications. This role requires a strong ability to interact with clients and ensure their communication needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to refine their communication needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of equipment before installation to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered during installation or maintenance.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on completed jobs and service follow-ups.
• Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance technical skills.
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols at all times.
• Assist in mentoring new technicians and providing guidance on best practices.

Advantageous

• Experience with Motorola and Kenwood LMR equipment: Prior hands-on experience with industry-standard brands like Motorola and Kenwood.
• Knowledge of digital radio technology: Understanding of DMR, P25, and Tetra technologies.
• Field experience in mining or oil and gas industries: Prior work experience in challenging environments preferred.
