Job Description

Join our dynamic forestry team as a Logging Equipment Operator. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely operating felling machines, inspecting equipment, and collaborating with team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate heavy machinery for tree felling operations.
• Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the forestry team to optimise harvesting practices.
• Complete daily activity logs and machine performance reports.
• Conduct safety inspections on machines before use.
• Engage in continuous skill development and safety training.
• Help implement environmentally friendly practices in logging.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy machinery in forestry operations.

• Chainsaw Operation Certification

Languages
