Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Unmanned Aerial Systems Technician (UAS Technician) to maintain and operate our fleet of UAVs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with UAV technology, demonstrating proficiency in both the technical and operational aspects of drones.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on UAV systems.
  • Perform setup and deployment of UAS for various projects.
  • Monitor flight operations and assist in post-flight data analysis.
  • Collaborate with the UAS Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace for all UAS equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skills development related to UAV operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Aviation or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in UAS maintenance and operations
Technical Skills
  • Electronics Testing Equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
  • Data Analysis Techniques
Soft Skills
  • Flexibility
  • Attention to Detail

Advantageous

  • Experience in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Techniques: Knowledge of capturing and analyzing geospatial data.
  • Previous Work in Emergency Services: Experience in rapid-response environments is a plus.
