Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Alice Springs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal health and welfare, providing comprehensive veterinary care and support to both our patients and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of animal health issues.
• Perform surgeries and provide pain management as needed.
• Advise pet owners on pet nutrition and preventative care.
• Oversee the training of veterinary assistants and interns.
• Keep up-to-date with veterinary best practices and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery or animal behaviour are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting
