Job Description

As a Park Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security in public parks and open spaces across Australia. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, show a passion for community service, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor park facilities to ensure they are safe for public use.
  • Respond to and resolve conflicts among park visitors amicably.
  • Work collaboratively with park rangers to protect wildlife and natural resources.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members on safety protocols.
  • Help develop strategies to improve community outreach and education.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Government (Investigation) or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a law enforcement or park ranger role
