Job Description

The Labor Commissioner is charged with enforcing labor laws and regulations, tackling disputes, and ensuring compliance across all divisions. A pivotal figure in the organization, the Commissioner works tirelessly to maintain fair labor practices and cultivate a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and standards across all departments.
• Investigate labor disputes and guide resolution processes.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to labor regulations.
• Offer assistance and guidance to management and staff on labor issues.
• Draft and enact policies to improve workplaces and labor relations.
• Engage with external agencies to collaborate on labor-related matters.
• Prepare and present reports on labor activities and compliance measures.
• Monitor changes in legislation and adapt policies accordingly.
• Encourage fair labor practices and uphold employee rights.
• Lead training initiatives focused on labor relations and employee rights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or Industrial Relations
• Master's degree is preferred but not essential

Experience

• 5+ years in labor relations or compliance roles is essential
