Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring community health and safety in Port Macquarie. You will develop and implement health policies, conduct community health assessments, and work closely with health professionals to address public health issues. Responsibilities

• Supervise health program staff and volunteers.

• Coordinate with government agencies on public health projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct health inspections and evaluations.
• Foster partnerships with local organisations for health initiatives.
• Provide guidance on health regulations and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Health Sciences
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in health promotion or community health
