Job Description

As a Pump Operator, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of industrial pumps. You will be responsible for diagnosing pump issues and ensuring optimal performance through routine inspections and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, alongside excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of pumps before and after maintenance.
• Evaluate pump performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Work with suppliers to procure necessary parts for repairs.
• Assist in preventive maintenance scheduling for all pump systems.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and training programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred experience with industrial pumps and specific brands/models

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
