Join our dynamic team in Ballarat as a Bookkeeper, where you will manage various client accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is essential for maintaining our clients' trust and delivering top-notch service. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciliations, and assist in preparing monthly financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements for clients.
  • Manage payroll and employee reimbursements.
  • Ensure financial compliance and assist in audits.
  • Provide clients with financial insights and recommendations.
  • Update accounting systems and software as required.
  • Assist in training junior staff members as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between the finance team and clients.
  • Review financial transactions for accuracy regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role
