Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have experience operating sawing machines and a passion for quality wood products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and fine-tune sawing machines prior to production runs.
• Observe machine operations for accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in quality control checks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct routine cleaning and minor repairs on machinery.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize workflow and decrease downtime.
• Assist in inventory management of lumber and related materials.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certificate in woodworking or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in sawmill operations or woodworking.
