Maintenance and Repair Worker

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Repair Worker to join our dedicated team responsible for maintaining hydroelectric equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of hydroelectric equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues within equipment systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes.
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Educate junior staff on maintenance best practices.
• Participate in safety training and drills.
• Assist in planning and executing scheduled maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in energy sector maintenance roles.

Technical Skills

• High Voltage Work

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration

Certifications

• High Voltage Work Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with hydropower systems: Familiarity with the operations and maintenance of hydroelectric plants.
• Experience with automated maintenance systems: Knowledge of using technology for efficient maintenance operations.
