Job Description

As a Shearing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining shearing machines, monitoring wool quality, and ensuring safety and efficiency during the shearing process. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that wool is shorn to meet industry standards.
• Adjust machine settings to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Assist in the movement and care of animals to ensure their health and comfort.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Trade certification is preferred

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the textile or animal care industry.

Technical Skills

• Experience with industrial shearing machines
• Knowledge of wool grading and quality control

Languages
