Job Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Stock Checker to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and verifying inventory levels, ensuring any discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved. If you have a knack for organization and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team! You will collaborate closely with both the warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular physical counts of stock and rectify any inconsistencies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve accurate stock levels.
  • Oversee the maintenance of stock records in the inventory management system.
  • Engage in troubleshooting stock-related issues and implement solutions.
  • Propose effective strategies for managing slow-moving inventory.
  • Develop and distribute stock performance reports.
  • Enforce stock control protocols to mitigate discrepancies.
  • Aid in the rollout of new inventory systems as needed.
  • Promote and carry out best practices to ensure inventory accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in inventory management are a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control or stock management.
