Job Description

As a UAS Technician, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair unmanned aircraft systems. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure that all systems function effectively and comply with safety regulations. Your role is vital in guaranteeing the operational efficiency of UAVs and their components.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-flight checks and post-flight inspections for UAVs.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance UAV performance.
• Implement upgrades and software patches to UAV systems.
• Monitor UAV system performance and report anomalies.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in UAV maintenance.
• Ensure proper storage and inventory management of UAV equipment.
• Assist in testing and validating new UAV technologies.
• Provide insights into operational improvements based on maintenance data.
• Support emergency repairs during flight operations.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance in all UAV activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Aviation Engineering preferred
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in UAV maintenance and repair

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with UAV regulation and compliance
• Experience with UAV telemetry systems

Soft Skills

• Team player
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Drone Pilot License

Languages

• English: Fluent
