Job Description

The Production Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the production process in a manufacturing facility. This role includes managing personnel, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production meetings to discuss goals and performance metrics.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to within the production environment.
  • Create and maintain quality control procedures to enhance product quality.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve plant operations.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Manage workforce scheduling to meet production demands effectively.
  • Investigate and resolve any production-related issues or delays.
  • Foster a positive team environment to improve employee morale and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management regarding production needs.
  • Identify training needs and arrange for appropriate training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior production role
