Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Electrical Discharge Machine Operator passionate about the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating EDM machines to create precision parts while ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up EDM machines for production runs ensuring all specifications are met.
• Collaborate with engineers for effective production techniques.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap rates.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Participate in safety audits and training programs.
• Create and maintain documentation for all production activity.
• Support other departments as needed for cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material and tool purchases.
• Provide feedback on tooling and part design for manufacturability.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in CNC Machining

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Languages
