Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General IT Technician to join our team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operation of systems. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist users with IT queries, and participate in the rollout of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network connectivity.
• Assist in the setup of new devices and systems for employees.
• Participate in IT strategy meetings to improve workflow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding IT security.
• Assist with backup and recovery processes.
• Prepare status reports for IT operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Information Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant IT experience
