Job Description

As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will operate a lockstitch sewing machine to attach fabric tape to the front edges of garments. Your attention to detail and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be crucial to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize lockstitch sewing techniques for garment production.
• Calibrate machine settings for various materials.
• Oversee the quality of finished sewn items.
• Keep machines in good working order and fix small issues.
• Follow health and safety protocols while working.
• Work in sync with the production timeline and targets.
• Assist in training new sewing machine operators.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a vocational training program in sewing or equivalent work experience

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.
