Physical Education Director

Job Description

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Physical Education Director to lead our school’s physical education curriculum and initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about promoting wellness and fitness among students. The ideal candidate will create a comprehensive physical education plan, ensuring it aligns with educational standards while meeting the needs of diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement a physical education policy aligned with national standards.
• Assess and develop physical education resources and equipment.
• Administer fitness assessments and track student health data.
• Create a diverse range of sports and activities catering to all student abilities.
• Facilitate and promote recreational activities and community sports events.
• Collaborate with external agencies for workshops and seminars.
• Implement initiatives that foster a lifelong interest in physical fitness.
• Participate in school committees related to student health and wellness.
• Conduct regular evaluations of program effectiveness.
• Encourage feedback from students and parents to adapt programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Master's degree in Sports Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in physical education teaching and administration
