Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Boarder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and welfare of boarders while maintaining exceptional care standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with child protection laws.
• Assist boarders with academic tasks and homework.
• Promote a culture of respect and inclusion among the boarders.
• Be available to address and support boarders' emotional and social needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of boarding services.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent
• First Aid and CPR Certificate

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience working with children, preferably in a boarding facility.

• Microsoft Office

• Interpersonal Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a similar role: Demonstrated experience working in a boarding environment or with at-risk youth.
• Understanding of Child Protection Laws: Knowledgeable in legislation and guidelines relevant to child welfare.
