Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Agricultural Sciences Teacher to inspire and educate students in postsecondary courses focused on vegetable production and sustainability. The successful candidate will engage in developing curriculum, delivering lectures, and fostering a hands-on learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead study abroad programs in agricultural sciences.
• Organize field tours and industry visits for students.
• Engage in outreach programs to enhance community understanding of agriculture.
• Publish research findings in academic journals and conference presentations.
• Participate in grant writing for research funding.
• Support students in obtaining internships and job placements.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for industry professionals.
• Assess and refine teaching methodologies based on student feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or related field
• Doctorate in Agriculture or Horticulture is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in postsecondary education or related fields
