Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Gemology Instructor to teach aspiring gemologists about the identification, grading, and evaluation of gemstones. This role demands a blend of industry expertise and a passion for education to inspire and equip students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on sessions on gemology principles.
• Create and manage assessment tools to evaluate student understanding.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Conduct workshops that explore practical aspects of gemstone evaluation.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program improvements.
• Assist in the organization of industry-related events and activities.
• Mentor students seeking guidance in their career paths.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Gemology or a related field
• Masters or other degrees are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the gemstone industry and/or teaching
