Information Security Engineer

Job Description

As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organisation's digital assets. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols that protect our systems from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of network security measures, as well as experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong security posture for the organisation.
• Coordinate with external security consultants as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide security support for various projects across the organization.
• Assess and manage third-party vendor risk related to security.
• Implement monitoring tools for real-time security alerts.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of current security practices.
• Report on security performance to upper management.
• Maintain knowledge of security audits and risk assessments.
• Facilitate security awareness training for all employees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles
