IT Support Technician

Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will be the front line for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for our customers in Gold Coast. This role requires a keen understanding of IT hardware and software solutions, coupled with excellent customer service skills. You will provide assistance through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person support, ensuring smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for IT-related issues and inquiries.
• Provide remote and onsite support to end-users.
• Assist in the configuration and troubleshooting of network devices.
• Perform system backups and data recovery as needed.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage stock levels.
• Assist in developing user guides and instructional materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support roles
