Job Description

As a Wind Energy Operations Manager, you will oversee the operational effectiveness of our wind turbines, managing a skilled team to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. The role entails leading maintenance strategies, monitoring turbine performance, and reporting on progress to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of wind turbines to meet production targets
  • Develop performance reports and conduct regular inspections of turbine sites
  • Evaluate team performance and provide ongoing feedback and support
  • Advance sustainable practices within the team and promote a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with other site managers to enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage budgets for maintenance and operational costs
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Facilitate communication between technicians and other stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the wind energy sector
