In this role, you will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes with precision to various surfaces. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces properly for painting by cleaning and priming.
• Select and mix colours for applications based on customer specifications.
• Ensure correct operation and maintenance of spray equipment.
• Apply various coatings and finishes consistently with quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of work in progress and finished surfaces for quality assurance.
• Document usage of materials and completion of tasks accurately.
• Collaborate closely with other operatives and supervisors to enhance work processes.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Adapt to new techniques and equipment as necessary to meet project demands.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of relevant vocational training

Experience

• 3+ years experience in a similar spray painting role.

Technical Skills

• Surface Preparation
• Knowledge of Coatings

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving

• Experience with Horticultural Coatings: Experience applying specific coatings for agricultural and horticultural equipment.
