Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Painter to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in painting and decorating various commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites for painting, including scraping, sanding, and filling holes.
• Expertly apply finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Communicate with clients regarding their requirements and colour choices.
• Monitor stock levels of materials and order supplies as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines while on-site.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in commercial or industrial painting

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Materials
• Use of Power Tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Forklift License (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in high-rise painting: Specialized experience in high-rise buildings or difficult access painting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations in construction.
