Job Description

As an Outside Machinist, you will install, maintain, and repair machinery across various industries including marine, aerospace, and energy. This role involves working outdoors, often in different weather conditions, while utilising your strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply technical drawings for installation tasks.
• Execute machinery repairs and installations efficiently.
• Ensure correct alignment of machinery components.
• Test and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Utilise various tools and machinery safely.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with all safety and operational standards.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Current driver's license

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience

Technical Skills

• Precision measuring
• Hydraulic systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in commissioning and testing machinery: Hands-on experience in starting up and testing machinery operation.
