Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Operator to work in our busy production area. This role requires attention to detail, precision in sewing techniques, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sewing machines to fabricate training apparel.
• Review sewing patterns to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain equipment, conducting routine checks and repairs as needed.
• Perform inspections on completed work to guarantee standards.
• Coordinate with the design team to meet production schedules.
• Help with fabric selection and material preparation.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff members.
• Follow safety guidelines and exercise care in daily operations.

Advantageous

• Experience with different fabric types: Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and assess their sewing characteristics.
• Knowledge of embroidery machines: Familiarity with operating embroidery sewing machines is a plus.
