Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist to develop radiation treatment plans for cancer patients and ensure their safety. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to monitor patient responses and maintain accurate medical records. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement radiation treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
  • Work in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust as needed based on patient feedback.
  • Document all aspects of patient care thoroughly and accurately in health records.
  • Provide ongoing education and support to patients regarding their treatment plans.
  • Regularly review new dosimetry technologies and practices to enhance patient safety.
  • Participate actively in clinical audits and research projects.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical practice at all times.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are desirable
Experience
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in a radiation oncology setting.
