Job Description

As the Entertainment and Recreation Manager, you will oversee the recreation department, ensuring the success of recreational activities and events tailored to our clients' needs. You'll lead a team, manage the department's budget, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while creating a vibrant community atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute recreational activities tailored to meet community needs.
• Provide leadership and direction to recreational staff and volunteers.
• Oversee safety protocols and risk management processes for all programs.
• Manage relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Collect and analyse feedback to continuously improve program offerings.
• Ensure all staff are trained in first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Create and maintain promotional materials for recreational programs.
• Foster an environment of inclusivity and diversity in all programming.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop strategic initiatives to boost participation.
• Report on program successes and challenges to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in recreation management or a similar role
