Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Ornamental Metalwork Designer to join our team. Your primary role will involve conceptualizing and designing unique ornamental pieces, such as gates and railings, ensuring that each creation is not only aesthetically pleasing but structurally sound.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ornamental metalwork pieces that exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to monitor the implementation of designs.
  • Evaluate and select finishes and surface treatments to ensure the longevity and quality of metalwork.
  • Conduct site visits to assess installation environments and make necessary adjustments to designs.
  • Engage in problem-solving for any design issues that arise during fabrication.
  • Participate in project planning sessions to align design goals with timelines and budgets.
  • Innovate new design techniques to better meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Document project processes and create presentations for client proposals.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in a related field is an advantage
  • Additional qualifications in design software are beneficial
Experience
  • 3+ years in ornamental metalwork with a portfolio of designs
