Job Description

As a Rolling Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will operate and maintain machines used to straighten metal tubes and rods, ensuring they meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the straightening machines.
• Conduct routine inspections of production processes.
• Report any malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
• Ensure materials are prepared and supplied to the machines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive log of production activities.
• Liaise with quality control personnel to ensure standards.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in machinery operation preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years operating machinery in a manufacturing setting

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in metal tube and rod production: Hands-on experience in the production and finishing of metal products.
