Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive examination and surgical services to patients.
• Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to individual pets.
• Consult with pet owners regarding care and health management.
• Provide training and guidance to junior veterinary staff.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate about pet health.
• Utilize veterinary software for maintaining medical records.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure patient recovery and well-being.

Requirements

Education

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
• Specialisation in surgery is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in veterinary surgery

• Australian Veterinary Surgery Certificate
